National Lottery of Ivory Coast (LONACI) has inaugurated its brand-new Biétry agency located on Boulevard Philipe Grégoire Yacé in Abidjan. The architectural jewel, equipped with all modern work amenities, was officially opened on Friday, August 9, 2024 by the General Manager, Mr. Dramane Coulibaly, in the presence of the Deputy General Manager, Mr. Abdoulkarim Ouattara.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by several members of the Management Committee, a delegation from the Lonaci Foundation, Mr. Abdoulaye Sako representing the mayor of Marcory, as well as representatives of the Biétry village chiefdom and commercial and technical partners.

The new building, constructed by the SOCIBAF company, replaces the former agency and is part of LONACI's modernization strategy. The strategy aims to strengthen the company's reception network and provide a pleasant and functional working environment for its agents and partners, as stated by the General Manager, Mr. Dramane Coulibaly.

During the event, Mr. Coulibaly announced that the inauguration of the new Biétry agency marks the beginning of a series of similar projects scheduled for completion by the end of 2025. These projects include the opening of other modern agencies in Yamoussoukro and Cocody Angré, among others.

The new Biétry agency becomes the fifth LONACI agency opened in Abidjan.

LONACI, established on March 20, 1970, operates as a mixed-economy company with the Ivorian government holding 80% of its capital. The remaining shares are owned by the National Social Security Fund (15%) and the company's staff (5%)
