ITHUBA Uganda announces first winners of Daily Lotto Game

ITHUBA Uganda, the licensed operator of the Uganda National Lottery, has declared the first winners of the Daily Lotto game under its portfolio of games. The Daily Lotto Draw Number 1, held on June 1, 2024, did not have a jackpot winner, resulting in the jackpot rolling down to other winning divisions.

Five lucky winners each won Shs 8,012,800 by correctly selecting three winning numbers out of the five drawn. Additionally, ninety-five winners walked away with Shs 1,100 each by correctly selecting two lucky numbers. The operator has encouraged all participants to check their tickets and claim their winnings.

ITHUBA Uganda launched the country's first National Lottery on June 1, 2024. The lottery aims to raise funds for sports infrastructure, particularly in light of Uganda co-hosting AFCON 2027. The operator guarantees jackpots exceeding UGX 2.5 billion, including the Lotto Jackpot (UGX 1 Billion), Powerball Jackpot (UGX 1.5 Billion), Daily Lotto Jackpot (UGX 40 Million), and Sportstake 10 Jackpot (UGX 20 Million).

ITHUBA Uganda has secured a 10-year license from the Ugandan government, marking a significant partnership between Uganda and the South African-based company. This partnership is expected to bring a brighter future through the National Lottery.
