IC360 partners with Ministry of Finance’s SPA for enhanced betting integrity in Brazil
Integrity Compliance 360 (IC360), a leading provider of integrity and compliance solutions for sports, sports betting, gaming, and iGaming, has signed a Technical Cooperation Agreement (ACT) with the Secretariat of Prizes and Bets of the Ministry of Finance (SPA-MF) on Friday, April 25th.
This five-year collaboration will allow IC360 to share its expertise in identifying anomalous betting activity, helping to detect and prevent attempts to manipulate betting outcomes. The agreement also leaves room for expansion, with potential to address additional goals in the future.
As part of the agreement, IC360 will collaborate with the SPA, providing valuable insights into the betting market and assisting in the qualification of the Secretariat's teams. Regis Dudena, Secretary of Prizes and Bets at the Ministry of Finance, emphasized the essential role of integrity-focused organizations like IC360 in supporting the SPA's efforts to spot signs of result manipulation and to facilitate the structured exchange of information. "This partnership enhances both SPA’s and its integrity partners' ability to monitor and regulate the betting market, reinforcing security and transparency within the sector," Dudena said, reaffirming the Ministry's dedication to maintaining the integrity of the Brazilian sports betting landscape.
Scott Sadin, Co-CEO of IC360, expressed pride in the collaboration, highlighting its importance for boosting awareness and integrity monitoring capabilities in Brazil. “Our mission is to promote a culture of responsibility and implement a robust detection system, ensuring that integrity is upheld and sustainable for the Brazilian community,” he said.
The agreement does not involve any financial transactions between the parties. Instead, the initiative centers on strengthening the security of the system, protecting the betting market, sports, and society as a whole.
