Hollywoodbets has announced a two-year sponsorship of the Airlink Pumas and all Mpumalanga Rugby Union (MRU) teams, marking a significant boost for rugby in the province. The partnership includes support for professional, amateur, youth, and women’s rugby, as well as investment in grassroots initiatives through the Mpumalanga Rugby Trust. Hollywoodbets will feature prominently on the Pumas’ jerseys as an Associate Partner.

MRU CEO Marius van Rensburg praised the sponsorship, calling it a game-changer for attracting talent and fostering growth. “This partnership strengthens our position in South African rugby and aligns with our vision for development,” he said. Devin Heffer of Hollywoodbets highlighted the Pumas’ resilience and community impact as key reasons for the collaboration. “Their commitment to nurturing talent and engaging with local communities impressed us,” he added.

MRU President AG Visser emphasized the sponsorship’s role in strengthening youth and women’s programs. “This support ensures the success of our professional team while providing resources for the next generation of players,” he said. The partnership aims to inspire the next generation of players and energize rugby in Mpumalanga.

The Airlink Pumas will debut their new kit in the 2025 Home SA Cup opener against the Phangela SWD Eagles on March 7 at Mbombela Stadium. This alliance underscores Hollywoodbets’ commitment to sporting excellence and community development, uniting players, supporters, and stakeholders in a shared vision for success.
