Gityer and Madagascar team up to enhance cryptocurrency management
The cryptocurrency exchange Gityer has announced a significant partnership with the Ministry of Commerce of Madagascar to provide "Tier 1" cryptocurrency custody and advanced services. This collaboration aims to enhance the Ministry's management of digital assets, streamlining custody, management, and disposal processes. Following a rigorous six-month evaluation, Gityer was selected for its robust security record and capability in delivering institutional-grade crypto services. The Ministry has committed $18.65 million for these custody and processing contracts.
Gityer's reputation for secure and reliable operations has made it a preferred choice among institutional investors, with over 4,000 users managing assets exceeding $150 billion as of June 2024. The exchange is known for its innovative technology and commitment to high security standards, investing significantly in research and development. This partnership not only underscores Gityer's influence in the cryptocurrency field but also highlights its role in advancing digital asset custody solutions.
As the cryptocurrency market continues to evolve, this collaboration marks a pivotal step for both Gityer and the Madagascar government in leveraging blockchain technology for economic growth.
