FDJ records 1% decline in revenue in Q3 2023
Gaming operator La Française des Jeux (FDJ), which has a monopoly on lotteries and sports betting in France, reached €586 million in revenue in the third quarter of 2023. This follows from the company's report published recently.
According to the contents of the document, revenue decreased by 1% compared to the same period in 2022, when it was 592 million euros.
€449 million of revenue came from lotteries, which is 6% less than in the third quarter of 2022. Revenue from sports betting and online gambling increased by 6% to €103 million.
During the third quarter, the operator accepted bets totaling 4.8 billion euros, which is 3% less than a year earlier.
The operator's revenue for the nine months of 2022 amounted to €1.87 billion, which is 1% more than in the same period last year.
