Expanse Studios partners with Betika to expand African iGaming market presence
Expanse Studios (GMGI), a game developer subsidiary of Golden Matrix Group, has announced a strategic partnership with Kenyan gaming company Betika to expand its presence in the African iGaming market.
Through this collaboration, Betika's players in Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia, and Nigeria will now have access to Expanse Studios' diverse portfolio of games, including popular slots, crash games, card games, and uniquely gamified turn-based strategy titles.
The partnership aims to capitalize on the rapid growth of Kenya's iGaming market, which is poised to reach €92.44m in online gambling revenues by 2024 and is projected to grow at a CAGR of 6.25% to approximately €117.80m by 2028.
With Kenya's high mobile internet penetration rate of 40.8% and a young, tech-savvy demographic increasingly engaged in online gambling, the alliance between Expanse Studios and Betika strategically positions both companies to meet the demands of this burgeoning market.
Damjan Stamenkovic, CEO of Expanse Studios, expressed excitement about the new venture, stating that the partnership "not only expands our footprint in the vibrant and rapidly growing African iGaming market but also aligns perfectly with our mission to deliver superior gaming products through constant innovation."
