ESL Pro League Season 24 Set for Katowice With $1 Million Prize Pool
Sixteen Counter-Strike 2 teams will compete in ESL Pro League Season 24 from October 3–11, with Team Spirit, Vitality, Falcons, MOUZ, G2 and NAVI among the leading names chasing a share of $1 million and a place in the Spodek Arena playoffs.
ESL Pro League Season 24 will begin in Katowice on October 3, bringing together 16 Counter-Strike 2 teams for one of the biggest events on the October esports calendar.
The tournament offers $1 million in total winnings and will run through October 11. It also marks an important change for the competition, with the decisive stage returning to a major arena in front of a live audience for the first time since 2019.
The field includes Team Spirit, Team Vitality, Team Falcons, MOUZ, Natus Vincere, G2 Esports, FURIA, Aurora, 9z, BetBoom, Legacy and PARIVISION. Twelve teams qualified through Valve Regional Standings invitations, while TYLOO, M80, 1win and ShindeN earned places through ESL Challenger League Season 51.
The opening stage will take place from October 3–7 using a 16-team Swiss format, with every match played as a best-of-three. The top eight teams will qualify for the playoffs, scheduled for October 9–11 at Katowice's iconic Spodek Arena. The knockout stage will use single elimination, with a best-of-five Grand Final on October 11.
Several high-profile matchups are already scheduled for the opening day. Vitality will face 1win, Spirit meet ShindeN, MOUZ play M80 and G2 take on NAVI, while Falcons begin against TYLOO and FURIA face BetBoom.
Beyond the prize money, the champion will also gain a point in the ESL Grand Slam VII race, increasing the significance of the event for teams competing across the wider ESL circuit.
With most of Counter-Strike's leading organizations in attendance and only eight playoff places available, the Swiss stage should leave little margin for a slow start. The return of ESL Pro League to an arena also gives Season 24 additional significance, with Katowice once again becoming the centre of the international Counter-Strike scene for the tournament's decisive matches.
