ELK Studios Sets Sail with Pirots 5 The Kraken

ELK Studios is preparing to open a new chapter in its popular Pirots universe with Pirots 5 – The Kraken, scheduled for release on August 25th. Following the breaking of Captain Blackfeather’s curse and the traitor’s eternal imprisonment within the Temple, the birds now face their second trial: “A sea under the mountain.”

Through their binoculars, the crew discovers their old pirate ship, still loaded with treasure, trapped in the grip of the Kraken — the mightiest of sea monsters. To reclaim what is theirs, the birds must descend into the depths, confront the beast and survive a dangerous new adventure beneath the mountain.

Pirots 5 – The Kraken is a 6x6 adventure slot packed with feature-driven gameplay and a maximum win potential of 10,000x the bet. The game includes the CollectR™ mechanic, an expanding game grid, symbol transformations, Wilds, the Kraken Coin Game, a Bonus Game and a Super Bonus Game.

One of the central features is the Kraken Coin Game, which starts with 3 drops. Landing coins, birds or symbols resets the counter, keeping the feature alive and giving players more chances to build stronger outcomes. This mechanic adds tension and momentum as each new drop can extend the action.

The game also introduces the Compass Cannon. This golden compass cannon replaces all gems in its shooting direction with feature symbols, then recoils in the opposite direction. The feature adds a strategic layer to the grid, creating sudden transformations that can reshape the board and open new reward possibilities.

Another key element is the Catacombs feature. When a symbol is collected on top of a catacomb corner, players enter the catacombs. There, defeating a landcrab in battle rewards a feature symbol, bringing an extra adventure-style layer to the gameplay.

The Bonus Game is triggered when the birds collect three Bonus symbols. If one of the collected symbols is a Super Bonus symbol, the Super Bonus Game is activated instead. During the Bonus Game, the grid size, progress on the collection meter and gem upgrades remain persistent, allowing the adventure to continue with accumulated progress.

With its pirate fantasy setting, deep-sea monster theme and rich gameplay structure, Pirots 5 – The Kraken expands the Pirots world with a darker and more dangerous trial.
