Denmark GGR up 1,0% in 2024
Gross gambling revenue in Denmark reached DKK 6.795bn by the end of 2023. This follows from the report of the Danish Gambling Authority (DGA), published recently on the website of the regulator.
Compared to 2022, gambling revenue increased by 1.0 per cent.
Revenue of DKK 3.07bn was generated by online casinos. Online sports betting revenue totalled DKK 2.18bn. In third place in terms of revenue was the slot machine segment, from which DKK 1.17bn was generated. Revenue from land-based casinos totalled DKK 362 million.
As for the data for December 2023, the revenue for that month totalled DKK 665 million, an increase of 22.6 per cent compared to the same period last year.
