Danish gambling revenue up 1% in June 2023
Denmark's gambling revenue in June 2023 was DKK 513 million (€68.72 million). This follows from the report of the Danish Gambling Authority (DGA), published recently on the website of the regulator.
Compared to the same period last year, revenue increased by 1.1%. However, when compared with the previous month, revenue decreased by 13.0%.
Online casino revenue decreased by 8.1% to DKK 238 million. Income from sports betting amounted to 154 million crowns, which is 1.9% less than a year earlier. Slots generated revenue of DKK 91 million, down 7.1% from the previous month.
Income from land-based casinos amounted to 30 million crowns.
