Côte d'Ivoire’s National Lottery Board welcomes newly appointed President
Mr. Fofana Youssouf has been appointed as the new President of the Board of Directors of the Loterie Nationale de Côte d'Ivoire (LONACI). He officially took office on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, during a formal handover ceremony with Mr. Vassogbo Bamba, who had been serving as interim president following the passing of Mr. Wenceslas Lénissongui-Coulibaly on May 8.
The ceremony was attended by LONACI's Managing Director, Mr. Dramane Coulibaly, and Deputy Managing Director, Mr. Abdoulkarim Ouattara.
The Board of Directors of LONACI oversees the management and operational activities of the national lottery, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and fostering responsible gaming. LONACI is tasked with organizing and regulating lottery and gaming activities in Côte d'Ivoire, upholding legal compliance, promoting responsible gaming, and contributing to social development through public funds.
