Colombia's Lotería del Risaralda doubles prize plan to 14.4 billion pesos in 2024
The Lotería del Risaralda concludes 2024 with a renewed profile, enhanced social work, and increased health transfers in Colombia. The prize plan has doubled from 7.2 billion pesos to 14.4 billion pesos, with tickets now available in more regions. Under manager Bibiana Garcés González, the organization has strengthened its positioning and teamwork, achieving significant milestones, including record sales of 716 million pesos during the December 20 draw.
Health transfers in Colombia reached 7 billion pesos this year, reflecting the lottery's commitment to public health initiatives. For the first time, Lotería del Risaralda held an extraordinary draw on December 7, contributing 12% of total sales to health funding in Risaralda. The governor has prioritized the well-being of ticket sellers by implementing programs that provide daily meals to 200 sellers.
Looking ahead, Lotería del Risaralda has set a ten-year strategic plan to enhance competitiveness in the gaming market while supporting local health initiatives. With these achievements and a renewed vision, the organization is poised for a successful 2025. This proactive approach aims to yield positive outcomes for both the lottery and the community it serves in Colombia.
