Chile's casino revenue up 1% in September 2023

Gross gaming revenue of 25 casinos operating in Chile in September 2023 amounted to 47.51 billion Chilean pesos (52.1 million US dollars). This follows from a report by Chile's General Directorate of Casino Affairs (SCJ), published on November 8th.

Compared to the same period last year, revenues increased by 0.8%.

Tax contributions from 22 private casinos in Chile for September 2023 amounted to 16.79 billion pesos.

During the month, Chile's casinos recorded a total of 583,005 visits, an increase of 10% compared to September 2022. The average spending per player per visit to the casino was 73,977 pesos (81.2 US dollars). This figure was 9% lower than a year earlier.
