Chile's casino revenue down 5% in July 2023

Gross gaming revenue of 25 casinos operating in Chile in July 2023 was 47.83 billion Chilean pesos (53.76 million US dollars). This follows from a report by the General Directorate of Casino Affairs of Chile (SCJ), published recently.

Compared to the same period last year, revenues decreased by 5.2%. Compared to the previous month, revenues increased by 880 million Chilean pesos.

Tax contributions from Chile's 22 private casinos for July 2023 amounted to 17.06 billion pesos.

During the month, Chile's casinos recorded a total of 635,751 visits, up 13% from July 2022. The average spending per player per visit to the casino was 73,387 pesos (82 US dollars). This figure was 16% lower than a year earlier.
