Chile casino revenue down 3% in November 2023

Gross gaming revenue of 25 casinos operating in Chile in November 2023 reached 39.78 billion Chilean pesos (US$44.4 million). This follows a report by Chile's General Directorate of Casinos (SCJ) published the other day.

Compared to the same period last year, revenues were down 3.4 per cent. 

During the month, Chile's casinos recorded a total of 447,448 visits, a 10 per cent decrease compared to November 2022. The average spending per player on a casino visit was 82,029 pesos (US$90). This figure was 8 per cent higher than a year earlier.

Tax revenues from Chile's 22 private casinos for November 2023 totalled 13.98 billion Chilean pesos.
