Chile casinos revenue up 9% in 2023

Gross gaming revenue of 25 casinos operating in Chile in 2023 was 513.68 billion Chilean pesos ($530 million). This follows from a report by the General Directorate of Casino Affairs of Chile (SCJ), published on February 14, 2024.

Compared to the same period last year, revenues increased by 9.1%.

In 2023, Chile's casinos recorded a total of 7.12 million visits, up 12% from 2022. The average casino spend per player was 76,042 pesos ($79). This figure was 12% lower than a year earlier.

Tax contributions from 22 private casinos in Chile for November 2023 amounted to 195.72 billion Chilean pesos.
