Chile's casino revenue down 2% in June 2023
The total revenue of 25 casinos operating in Chile in June 2023 amounted to 46.95 billion Chilean pesos (55.0 million US dollars). This follows from the report of the Superintendencia de Casinos de Juego (SCJ), published recently.
Compared to the same period last year, revenues decreased by 2.4%. At the same time, compared with the previous month, revenues increased by 1.52 billion Chilean pesos.
Tax deductions from 22 private casinos in Chile for June 2023 amounted to 16.54 billion pesos.
During the month, Chile's casinos recorded a total of 565.9 thousand visits, which is 12% more than in June 2022. The average cost per player to visit the casino was 81,205 pesos ($95). This figure was 13% lower than a year earlier.
