Chile casino revenue decreased by 13% in October 2023

Gross gaming revenue of 25 casinos operating in Chile in October 2023 was 45.54 billion Chilean pesos (USD 52.3 million). This follows from the report of the General Directorate of Casino Affairs of Chile (SCJ), published recently.

Compared to the same period last year, revenues decreased by 12.9%.

Tax contributions from 22 private casinos in Chile for October 2023 amounted to 15.99 billion pesos.

During the month, Chile's casinos recorded a total of 542,179 visits, down 14% from October 2022. The average spending per player per visit to the casino was 82,544 pesos (94.8 US dollars). This figure was 3% higher than a year earlier.
