Chengdu All Gamers crowned KPL 2025 champions as finals break global attendance record
The King Pro League 2025 Grand Finals concluded on 8 November at Beijing’s National Stadium with Chengdu All Gamers lifting the championship trophy. The event made esports history with 62 196 live attendees and a total prize pool of ¥70 million (≈ US$ 9.8 million), setting new benchmarks for mobile gaming worldwide.
The final showdown saw Chengdu All Gamers defeat Wolves Esports 4–2 in an intense Honor of Kings battle that captivated both live spectators and over 250 million online viewers across streaming platforms. The champions secured ¥20 million (≈ US$ 2.8 million) for first place, while Wolves took home ¥12 million (≈ US$ 1.7 million).
The Grand Finals also earned an official Guinness World Record for the “largest live audience at an esports match,” surpassing all previous attendance marks. The production featured a 7,000 m² LED stage and immersive AR elements that transformed the Bird’s Nest into a fully interactive arena.
Industry experts say the KPL 2025 has reinforced Honor of Kings’ position as the world’s most commercially successful mobile esport, driven by escalating sponsorships, international viewership, and China’s growing dominance in competitive gaming.
