Casino revenues in Chile decreased by 7% in May 2023

The total income of the 25 casinos operating in Chile in May 2023 amounted to 45.43 billion Chilean pesos (56 million US dollars). This information comes from a report published recently by the Chilean Gaming Control Board (SCJ).
Compared to the same period last year, revenues decreased by 7.3%.
Tax contributions from 22 private casinos in Chile for May 2023 reached 16.03 billion pesos.
During the month, a total of 562,500 visits were recorded in Chilean casinos, which is 22% more than in May 2022. The average spending per player per casino visit was 78,850 pesos (97 US dollars). This figure was 15% lower than the previous year.
