Cape Verde launches digital platform for Totoloto, Joker, and Lottery games
Cape Verdeans have started playing Totoloto, Joker, and Crowd games on the newly launched digital platform, www.jogoscruzvermelha.cv. The inaugural draw of the new game system, organized by the Cape Verde Red Cross, was held on June 3 and broadcast live on Cape Verde Television.
This new digital system is part of the Social Games Modernization and Digital Transformation Project. With this advancement, the drawn numbers are available in less than two hours after the competitions close. The results are published following the completion of the surveillance process, typically between the end of the draw and the beginning of the next day.
The Cape Verde Red Cross announced the launch in a press release, emphasizing that this initiative is a significant step in the modernization and digital transformation of social games in Cape Verde.
The Cape Verde Red Cross has a long history with national lotteries, having received the concession to operate the National Lottery in 1977. In 1997, it was also chosen to manage Totoloto and Joker games across the nation. In November 2020, the organization secured an exclusive 20-year agreement with the State of Cape Verde to operate social games.
This digital transformation marks a new era for social gaming in Cape Verde, aiming to enhance accessibility and efficiency for players nationwide.
