Burundi's gambling industry set for transformation with N-Soft's innovative solutions
Burundi's gambling industry is poised for a major transformation with the introduction of N-Soft's Gambling Management System (GMS). This innovative technology is set to revolutionize revenue mobilization and enhance transparency in the country's betting sector.
The National Lottery of Burundi (LONA) recently completed a training course on the configuration, operation, and maintenance of the GMS system, conducted by the B&N Partners consortium in collaboration with N-Soft.
N-Soft's GMS will empower LONA to oversee eight existing gambling providers within the country. The project will roll out in two phases, initially focusing on lotteries, online platforms, sports betting, and horse racing, followed by an expansion into casino operations, including slot machines
This comprehensive approach aims to address the lack of transparency in the industry, which has historically led to millions of dollars in unreported and untaxed revenue. N-Soft's GMS system addresses this issue and marks a significant collaboration between N-Soft, the Ministry of Finance, and the Ministry of Commerce in Burundi It will enable the Burundian government to accurately assess and monitor revenue streams from gambling activities.
