BSOP Millions 2025 sets new Latin American record with R$ 20 million guarantee for BSOP Championship
The closing festival of the BSOP Millions 2025 in São Paulo will deliver a historic prize-pool guarantee of R$ 20 million (~US$ 4 million), including at least R$ 4 million for the champion, marking the largest single-event guarantee in Brazilian live poker history.
The Brazilian Series of Poker (BSOP) has announced that the BSOP Championship event—part of the BSOP Millions festival running 14-29 November 2025 at the Sheraton WTC São Paulo—will carry a guaranteed prize-pool of R$ 20 million, with one-fifth of that (R$ 4 million) reserved for the winner regardless of field size.
Organisers note that if participation exceeds the projected 800 entrants, the total prize could exceed the guaranteed R$ 20 million.
The same festival features 104 tournaments overall, including Brazil’s first-ever Super High Roller events and a US$ 2 million guaranteed Main Event.
For industry observers, this guarantee highlights the rapid growth of Latin American live poker, and signals new opportunities for high-stakes sponsorships, affiliate traffic and live-casino partnerships in the region.
