This is not the first time Arteta has turned to unconventional methods to raise awareness within his squad. At a team dinner last year, he invited professional pickpockets who discreetly stole phones, wallets and jewelry from the players. The exercise was later revealed as a lesson in alertness and concentration.

The coach reportedly wants to develop a system based on simple commands rather than long explanations, allowing players to respond faster and more effectively during high-pressure moments.
