Angola’s ISJ unveils new directive to boost risk-based supervision
The Gaming Supervision Institute (ISJ) of Angola has unveiled Directive No. 3/25, as part of efforts to strengthen risk-based supervision in the country’s gaming sector. The directive was presented during a technical session held on June 19 at ISJ headquarters in Luanda, attended by compliance officers from licensed gaming operators.
The meeting forms part of Angola’s ongoing alignment with international standards to combat money laundering, terrorism financing, and the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.
Directive 3/25 introduces standardized templates for the Risk Self-Assessment Report and the Compliance Questionnaire—tools considered vital for assessing and mitigating risks effectively.
Participants received detailed clarifications and implementation guidance in an open, collaborative dialogue with the ISJ. The Institute reaffirmed its commitment to fostering a transparent, compliant, and secure gaming environment in Angola.
