Angola opens public consultation on new gambling regulations
The Gaming Supervision Institute (ISJ) of Angola has launched a public consultation process to gather feedback on proposed regulations for social games, online remote gambling, and land-based games of chance. The draft regulations are available on the ISJ’s official website.
This initiative aims to engage stakeholders to develop optimal solutions for a safe, transparent, and well-regulated gaming sector that adopts best practices tailored to Angola’s market. Contributions can be submitted via email or through the ISJ’s institutional portal by January 31 of this year.
Gambling in Angola is regulated and includes both land-based and online activities, overseen by the ISJ, which plays a central role in ensuring compliance, promoting responsible gaming, and fostering a fair market environment. This consultation reflects Angola's commitment to modernizing its gambling framework and aligning it with international standards.
