Consolidated revenue of lottery operator Allwyn International for the second quarter of 2023 reached a record level of 2.05 billion euros. Compared to the same period last year, consolidated revenue increased by 114.7%. This was reported in a company report published recently.

The operator's gross gaming revenue amounted to 1.96 billion euros, which is 115.3% more than last year.

Allwyn noted that the growth in consolidated revenue was driven by the acquisition of recent competitor Camelot UK Lotteries and the Camelot Lottery Solutions group of companies, which does business in the United States.

EBITDA, equal to earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization, reached 301 million euros.

At the end of the first half of 2023, Allwyn International's revenue amounted to 3.7 billion euros, which is almost double the figure of 1.9 billion euros for the same period last year.

As a reminder, Allwyn was announced as the holder of the UK National Lottery's fourth license in March 2022, ending Camelot's 28-year tenure of the licence. Allwyn will become the operator of the UK National Lottery from 2024.
