75% of swedes gambled in 2023

75% of Swedish residents gambled in 2023. This follows from the results of a study carried out by Enkätfabriken on behalf of the Swedish Gambling Authority (Spelinspektionen).
The survey included 1,538 Swedes. 1,143 of them admitted to gambling during the year. Moreover, 41% of respondents said that they gambled during the week preceding the survey.
74% of respondents specified that they were participants in lotteries and bingo drawings.
The survey also revealed that 65% of Swedes are aware of the self-exclusion option, which allows you to stop gambling for a certain period of time. The level of trust of Swedish residents in the activities of gambling companies was 65%.
